Hon. Scott Sakupwanya

Club President

Honorable Pedzai Scott Sakupwanya is a prominent Zimbabwean entrepreneur, philanthropist, and politician, He is the brains behind Scottland FC and a dedicated Member of Parliament for the Mabvuku constituency. Honorable Sakupwanya has always been passionate about sports and community development, recognizing the transformative power of football in the lives of young people. Sakupwanya’s commitment to philanthropy extends beyond football; he is actively involved in various community initiatives aimed at improving education, health, and social welfare in his constituency. His efforts have made a significant impact on the lives of many, earning him respect and admiration from both constituents and peers. Through his work with Scottland FC and his political career, Pedzai Scott Sakupwanya continues to inspire a new generation of leaders and athletes, embodying the spirit of resilience and hope in Zimbabwe

Everson Chatambudza

Club Chairman

Mr Everson Chatambudza is a prominent Harare lawyer and veteran football administrator, widely recognised for his leadership as the chairman of Yadah Football Club. He was chairman of Yadah Football Club for 13 years between 2012 and 2025. Mr Chatambudza became Scottland FC chairman in January 2026 and has a vision to grow the club into a continental giant in the next five years. Top of his priorities is to ensure that Scottland FC do well in the prestigious CAF Champions League in 2026/27 to set the foundation for bigger things to come. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Chatambudza has also played important roles in the promotion of the game at the Premier Soccer League level where he was part of the board of governors by virtue of his position at club level. He has also been an active supporter of the game at national team level, attending all the major tournaments that the Warriors have been to, including three AFCON finals.

Tawanda Chidzidzi

Tawanda Chidzidzi is a dedicated sports administrator currently serving as the Welfare Manager of Scottland FC, where he plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and development of players and staff. His commitment to fostering a supportive and nurturing environment at the club has made him an invaluable asset, as he actively works to address the needs and concerns of all team members. In addition to his responsibilities at Scottland FC, Tawanda is passionate about youth development in his community. He hosts an annual youth tournament in his constituency of Mabvuku Tafara, providing young athletes with a platform to showcase their talents and engage in healthy competition. This initiative not only promotes sportsmanship and teamwork among the youth but also helps to identify and nurture emerging soccer talent in the area.

Fortune Bgwoni

Secretary General

A prominent sports administrator Bgwoni currently serves as the Secretary General of Scottland FC, a role in which he is dedicated to enhancing the club’s operational efficiency and community engagement. With a strong background in sports management, Bgwoni has been pivotal in implementing strategies that promote player development, fan involvement, and overall club growth. Bgwoni is also the Director of the Zimbabwe National Soccer Supporters Association (ZNSSA). In this capacity, he champions the interests of soccer fans across Zimbabwe, working to foster a vibrant and inclusive soccer culture.

Temba Sakupwanya

Mr Temba Sakupwanya is a highly organised and detail-oriented administrator, who has been part of the Scottland FC project from the beginning. He is comfortable with numbers and is able to work collaboratively with the relevant club committees and also external stakeholders like local authorities, labour unions, the Zimbabwe Football Association and the Premier Soccer League among others. Mr Temba Sakupwanya has been part of the forces behind Scottland FC’s historic 2024 Northern Region Soccer League championship-winning campaign and has also had a successful start to the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League campaign. Among his key roles, Mr Temba Sakupwanya ensures financial stability and transparency at Scottland FC through managing club income and expenses, maintaining accurate records and monitor cash flow to ensure the club has enough liquidity to meet its obligations, including player wages, facility rentals, and equipment purchases. Mr Temba Sakupwanya has a passion for football and deep understanding of the game, which makes his job easier.
